Straight answers

Cost, confidentiality, and what you can decide after you ask.

What does it cost?

You hear the terms before you sign anything. Getting a preliminary range does not obligate you to list.

Will employees or customers find out?

Public pages do not show your name, company, or exact financials. Nothing is announced publicly until you decide to go to market.

Is the valuation a formal appraisal?

No. It is a preliminary range from the figures you provide and industry multiples. It is not a guaranteed price.

How long does a sale take?

The questionnaire takes a few minutes. A sale depends on the business, the price, and the buyer.

Do I have to sell?

No. Exploring is an acceptable timeline. You can take the range and wait.

How are buyers found?

After you choose to go to market, outreach starts from the confidential conversation.

What if I am not ready?

Start anyway and choose “just exploring.” You get the range without listing the business.

Why not sell it myself?

You can. A preliminary range does not require a listing, and nothing has to be announced on day one.
