GUIDE
Business acquisition
A purchase with a defined scope, not a browse of everything for sale.
Write the brief before you ask for names
Industry, geography, size, and what you will not buy are the search. “Anything profitable” returns noise. Say whether you will operate the company or hire someone who will.
Creating a profile shows anonymous matches from listings that exist.
Financing is part of the brief
Cash, a lender, and seller financing are different offers. If you need an SBA-guaranteed loan, read that guide and talk to a lender. We do not lend and do not approve credit.
Matches stay anonymous until there is a conversation both sides asked for.
Questions
Will I see the seller's name?
Not on the public match. Identity is not the first screen.
Is an acquisition the same as buying a franchise?
No. This page is about an existing company, not a franchise system.
