Preparing an industrial property for sale

Building facts a warehouse or industrial owner in Northern New Jersey can gather while exploring options.

What a user asks before a price

Clear height, dock doors, drive-in doors, trailer parking, power, and the truck route to the Turnpike, I-78, I-80, or I-287 decide who can use the building. Write those down before you talk about a number.

If tenants are in place, the remaining term and the rent are useful facts. A vacant building is a different set of facts. Say which one you have.

Older sites need a straight answer

Mill buildings in Paterson and older yards near the port often have an environmental history. An independent professional does that review. This page does not inspect the property and does not clear a site.

Gather the survey, the tax-list class, and the town. Then use the form to tell us about the property and whether you are exploring selling, leasing, valuing, or planning.
